Question heart of the shiverpeaks - getting there?

The "heart of the shiverpeaks" dungeon is in the middle of nowhere (literally) for me, as I havn't completed the prophecies campaign yet. It looks insane getting there from "Eye of the North"...its almost 1/3 of the vertical GW map.

I do have droknars forge...but even from there its a loooooong way to walk. So my question is, what is the best way to get there? I.e. are there any towns/outposts near it?

You have to go to the Eye of the North expansion. There is no direct walk path from Droknars Forge to Heart of Shiverpeaks. Usually people get there from going to the city Eye of the North, then going into the nearby dungeon called Battledepths??, I think. Then once in there there is a asuran portal to zip you to the Heart of the Shiverpeaks dungeon. From there its a 3 level dungeon to get to Cyndr (boss worm).

Damnit, I just left the place. Didn't point me to a portal anyways, it pointed to the dungen which is a LONG walk from there, so I guess a portal would make sense. But where?

The entrance to the dungeon is near King Jalis, and all the other dwarf NPCs

If you are on your way to see the King, when you see some of those Icy Stalagmites (or whatever they are called, they make 4 different spirits), make the left and attack through them. Continue on and you see 4 Chilling Wisps and a few ice elementals(or similar elementals). Kill them and by now you should be able to see the portal area. Go straight to the next room with Chromatic Drakes. You dont have to kill them, and just walk through the portal. Its a quick walk from Eye of the North.

Battledepths is small, so if you get lost you will find it anyways...not many places to go

Yea go through battledepths, you could probably run through to there. I used to do that during the HoS CR... was sad to see it go though , had the best week of GW in my life. ANYWAYS, its not far, but the boss will be a bit hard.
